How to Handyma’am is the dream of three passionate women determined to make the trades accessible to all women. The organization’s primary focus is how to complete home repairs and renovations, and specifically how to care for your own home. We’ll also share information that will be helpful as you manage your contractor relationships. And we’re creating a pathway for women into a career in the trades. We envision a community of women who are empowered to take care of the daily needs of their lives independently and with confidence and knowledge. This includes how you care for your home, what you choose to do with your career, how you engage with those from whom you purchase services, and who you entrust to provide services in your home.
